Capabilities

One tool for the whole job

Day-to-day operations and incident debugging, without switching between a dozen CLIs and tabs.

Live resource views

Informer-backed lists for every resource kind, CRDs included. Updates arrive row by row, the moment the cluster changes.

YAML edit with diff

View, edit and apply any resource's YAML. A diff shows exactly what changes before it reaches the cluster.

Streaming logs

Tail logs from multiple pods at once. Follow, filter, and download the output.

Exec terminal & actions

A real terminal into any container, plus one-keystroke actions: scale, restart, delete, cordon, drain.

Port-forward manager

Start, monitor and stop port-forwards across all of your clusters from one panel.

Metrics dashboard

Node and pod CPU and memory usage, plus workload health for the whole cluster.

Multi-cluster search

One global search across every connected cluster and context. Find a pod, secret or CRD instance anywhere.

RBAC & relationships

Answer "can I do X here?" for the current context, and see how resources relate with relationship graphs.

Privacy

Private by design

Pilot ships with no telemetry and no phone-home. All cluster data stays on your machine. The only outbound connections are to your own Kubernetes API servers, plus an optional AI endpoint you configure and consent to. It is off by default.

  • Offline licenses. A license is a signed file that works without internet access. It fits air-gapped and locked-down environments. No activation server.
  • Your credentials stay yours. Pilot is kubeconfig-native and talks directly to your clusters, with nothing in between.
  • AI is opt-in, not opt-out. Bring your own endpoint if you want an assistant. Nothing leaves your machine until you explicitly enable it.
